GeekSucks has a great round-up of 25 brilliantly designed Magento stores. The screen capture you see above is from Matthew Williamson, one of the storefronts featured. It’s a beautifully simple design that is definitely worth checking out. The entire list at GeekSucks is great, giving 25 very different designs the attention they deserve. Check it out and see the limitless boundaries that Magento offers.
Magento has two bits of important updates on their site for this week. SimpleHelix customers who are also Magento users might find this information important and useful.
First – The Magento Users Guide is now available in a print edition. They’re using Lulu as a print service to distribute the paper copies. The cost is currently $32.95.
Second – Magento Connect is listing new extensions for use in the storefront. There’s an event calendar and MailChip synchronization as well as a few others that Magento users may need.

For any customers who have noticed the network latency, we wanted to update you on this issue.There is currently an outgoing DDOS attack happening from within the data center in Atlanta, this is affecting the WHOLE data center, not
just us. They are currently working on it and it should be fixed soon, they gave us the following statement:
We have traced down an outgoing ddos from a colo customer on the silver network, We are in communication with said colo customer and tracking it down to stop it. We will update the ticket when we have further information.
